As part of the Stanford University Center for Definitive and Curative Medicine (CDCM), the Discovery Stage Project Manager provides comprehensive project support and management resources to Stanford Investigators specializing in stem cell and gene therapies. The CDCM seeks a full-time Project Manager to provide planning, monitoring, and managing of investigator-initiated translational research projects in the early stages of development; ensuring on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs. S/he will oversee all aspects of the development process, produce progress reports, coordinate activities, and ensure that timelines and deliverables on projects are being met. This involves the management of complex, multifaceted projects and oversight of all functional areas involved in delivery of various aspects of clinical programs/studies while meeting collaborators needs and adhering to the program guidelines. This roll will be responsible for managing the early stage development of cell and gene therapy trials within the CDCM, initially within the Tissue Regeneration platform, in which several projects are in or nearing clinical application.

The expected pay range for this position is $120,038 to $153,486 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of the salary the university reasonably expects to pay for a position upon hire. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
