Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an experienced Ceilings Estimator / Project Manager to support commercial construction projects throughout Virginia. This position combines preconstruction estimating with project management and is ideal for someone with experience in acoustical ceilings, ACT systems, drywall, metal framing, or commercial interior finishes.
This individual will be involved in projects from the initial takeoff and bidding stages through project execution and closeout, working closely with customers, vendors, field teams, and other project stakeholders.

• Responsibilities
  Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare estimates for commercial ceiling and interior construction projects
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope
• Develop labor and material estimates and assist with bid preparation
• Manage awarded projects from preconstruction through completion
• Coordinate materials, procurement, schedules, and field activities
• Prepare and manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
• Track project costs, budgets, schedules, and overall project progress
• Communicate with customers, vendors, field teams, and subcontractors
• Identify scope changes and support pricing throughout the life of the project
• Assist with project closeout and ensure work is completed according to project

Required Experience

• Experience in commercial construction estimating and/or project management
• Experience with acoustical ceilings, ACT/ceiling grid systems, drywall, metal framing, or commercial interior construction
• Experience performing construction takeoffs and reviewing plans/specifications
• Understanding of commercial construction drawings and project documentation
• Experience coordinating multiple projects, deadlines, vendors, and field activities
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Experience

• Experience working for a drywall, acoustical ceiling, specialty interiors, or Division 9 subcontractor
• Experience with On-Screen Takeoff (OST), QuickBid, Bluebeam, Procore, eTakeoff, EDGE, PlanSwift, or similar construction software
• Experience estimating both drywall and acoustical ceiling packages
• Knowledge of specialty ceiling systems and commercial interior finishes
• Previous Estimator/Project Manager, Project Manager/Estimator, Senior Estimator, or
• Preconstruction experience
