CDP Engineer Adobe Real-Time CDP (RTCDP) / AEP

Client is seeking a CDP Engineer specializing in Adobe RTCDP and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) to support data ingestion, identity resolution, and profile creation for a large-scale consumer telecommunications client. This is a hands-on technical role focused on configuring data flows, mapping datasets to XDM schemas, and supporting segmentation and activation accuracy across channels.

Overview:
Client is seeking a CDP Engineer specializing in Adobe RTCDP and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) to support data ingestion, identity resolution, and profile creation for a large-scale consumer telecommunications client. This is a hands-on technical role focused on configuring data flows, mapping datasets to XDM schemas, and supporting segmentation and activation accuracy across channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, configure, and maintain XDM schemas, datasets, and dataset mappings in AEP/RTCDP
• Build ingestion pipelines (batch, streaming, SDK, API) per architectural and privacy standards
• Support identity resolution frameworks (namespaces, linkages, profile merging)
• Enable datasets for Profile; validate attributes, events, audiences for segmentation readiness
• Configure destination connectors and support activation flows
• Run data validation (anomaly detection, schema validation, identity checks) and troubleshoot ingestion/mapping/identity issues
• Maintain documentation for data flows, datasets, mappings, and governance
• Manage AEP sandboxes (dev, test, prod)
• Partner with privacy/governance teams on access control, consent, and compliance
• Support basic information security practices (data handling, GDPR/CCPA awareness, risk reporting)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 5+ years in data engineering, Mar Tech engineering, or CDP operations
• 2+ years hands-on Adobe RTCDP (ingestion, transformation, identity resolution, activation)
• Working knowledge of Adobe Source Connectors, Streaming & Batch Ingestion, Data Prep, Query Service
• Strong grasp of XDM schemas, dataset configuration, Profile enablement
• Proficiency in SQL; familiarity with ETL/ELT, data pipelines, cloud data platforms
• Experience with APIs, Adobe I/O Runtime, Web SDK, streaming ingestion
• Programming: Python, JavaScript, or SQL
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Snowflake, Salesforce CDP, Segment, Redshift, or Big Query experience a plus
• Knowledge of GDPR/CCPA and data governance
• Adobe Experience Cloud exposure (AJO, Analytics, Target) preferred, not required
• Bachelor s in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
