Class A Driver – Local Delivery (Day Shift) Penmac Staffing / Transportation Dept is hiring a
Class A Driver for a respected local nonprofit organization that supports hunger-relief efforts in the Ozarks. This is a full-time, dayshift driving role with local routes only, so you will be home every night. In addition to driving, this position includes hands-on warehouse support.
$22.65 per hour Class A Driver Responsibilities- Operate a tractor-trailer to make local deliveries and pickups
- Load and unload products safely and efficiently
- Assist with warehouse tasks during the workday as needed
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Follow all DOT, safety, and company procedures
Requirements for the Class A Driver- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum of one year of tractor-trailer driving experience
- Clean motor vehicle record
- Strong and stable work history
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, twist, and handle product
- Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently and up to 70 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to submit to required screenings
Schedule and Pay- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Pay: $22.65 per hour
- Classification: Non-Exempt
