Reporting directly to the Shop Manager, the CDL Truck Driver will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of heavy vehicles assigned. Truck Drivers will be responsible for transporting equipment and materials to and from different jobsites and locations. Drivers are responsible for always following all related DOT rules and regulations.
This position is one in which a momentary lapse of attention may result in grave and immediate danger to themselves and others; therefore, this position is classified as safety sensitive.
Minimum Requirements:
Valid Class B Commercial Drivers' License required
Skilled at driving, parking and maintaining large, heavy vehicles
Alert, focused, and detail-oriented
Physically and mentally fit
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time
Clean driving record with no moving violations
Willing to help with other tasks included on the worksite as needed
Ability to test and earn additional CDL Endorsements
All candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening. Testing requirements may be Non-DOT or DOT regulated depending on the position applied for.
Ability to understand and follow complex oral and written directions
Ability to establish and maintain harmonious relationships with employees
Ability to deal with the public in a courteous and professional manner
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of proven experience in commercial truck driving preferred
Additional CDL Endorsements such as H (Hazardous materials), N (Tank) or others preferred.
Valid Class A Commercial Drivers' License preferred
