EWASTE+ is seeking a CDL or Non CDL Driver in the Scotia, NY! Home Every Night - 4 hour driving radius Job responsibilities include: - Uses GPS system to follow routed manifests to pick up client's electronic waste in a timely manner and in accordance with local, state and Department of Transportation guidelines
- Assembles and wraps palettes with shrink wrap and labels with batch numbers accordingly
- Provides good customer service and maintains a professional manner and appearance to enhance the company's image
- Performs Department of Transportation pre-trip inspections according to checklist, and keeps accurate copies in the vehicle at all times
- Maintains company fuel credit cards and valid proof of insurance and registration in the vehicle
- Maintains a daily, legible Department of Transportation logbook and submits as required
- Ensures proper maintenance of vehicles and reports all accidents, damages, and malfunctions to management
- Operates hand truck, palette and electric jack as needed
- Maintains cleanliness and assures proper functioning of company trucks
- Completes the driver portion of manifests legibly and distributes copies to appropriate places or people
- Pay Rate: $21.00-$25.00
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening
