CDL Driver

As a Class A CDL Driver, you will support our landscaping operations by transporting equipment and materials to and from job sites. This role is essential to keeping projects on schedule and ensuring safe, efficient delivery of materials and equipment. The ideal candidate takes pride in safe driving, equipment care, and supporting field teams in a fast-paced, outdoor, service-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate CDL-required vehicles, including dump trucks, flatbeds, and trailersTransport landscaping equipment, plant materials, tools, and debris between job sites, yards, and vendorsLoad and secure materials and equipment in compliance with safety and DOT regulationsPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety issuesAssist with loading/unloading materials, equipment, and debris as neededCoordinate with crew leaders, operations staff, and dispatch to ensure timely deliveriesMaintain accurate logs, inspection reports, and required compliance documentationKeep vehicles clean and in good working conditionFollow all company safety policies, DOT regulations, and traffic lawsRepresent the company professionally when interacting with clients, vendors, and the publicAssist in clearing and disposing of trash and organic materialMaintaining a positive and collaborative attitude with internal and external clientsPerforming other tasks as assignedSafely operate a grapple truck to pick up and drop off tree debrisMaintain accurate records of pickups and deliveriesCommunicate effectively with the dispatch team and other team membersEnsure that the truck and equipment are in good working orderFollow all DOT regulations and safety standards

Requirements:

Valid CDL (Class A or B, as required by role) with a clean driving record1+ year of experience operating CDL vehiclesKnowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle safety requirementsAbility to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and securing loadsStrong attention to safety and detailReliable, punctual, and team-orientedAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsExperience operating a grapple truck.Ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Experience driving dump trucks, towing trailers, or hauling heavy equipmentExperience in landscaping, construction, or field services industriesFamiliarity with loading equipment such as skid steers, mowers, or excavatorsBilingual (English/Spanish) communication skillsBasic mechanical knowledge or ability to identify vehicle issuesExperience working with multiple job sites and tight schedulesWillingness to assist crews with basic labor when not drivingStrong knowledge of how to safely operate a tractor, bush hog and related landscape equipment
