What you’ll do as an Onsite CDL Driver:- Responsible for mixing rations according to instructions from the manager
- Assign orders and deliveries to the proper bin location
- Observe mill for proper operations and ensure accurate inventory and records are kept
- Maintain trucks and tractors, including major and minor repairs on equipment
- Adhere to safe work practices, follow SOPs, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure that product quality is maintained
- Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect feed safety, food quality, or personnel safety
- Travel to and work at multiple locations while staying local
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
What you need to be an Onsite CDL Driver:- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent)
- CDL Class A license
- Ability to meet requirements of company DOT written program
- Strong math skills, including the ability to calculate discounts, proportions, percentages, and basic algebra
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance manuals, and procedure documents
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups, customers, vendors, or employees
- Good mechanical ability
- Ability to ascend and descend stairs and ladders
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time
