Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license
• Ability to operate a vacuum truck safely
• Willingness to perform physical labor outdoors in all seasons
• Ability to use shovels, drills, and other hand tools
• Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers
• Ability to handle sewage and grease-system materials safely
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Willingness to assist with varied field and shop duties

Job Duties

• Operate a vacuum truck at residential and commercial locations
• Service sewage and grease systems
• Inspect systems and troubleshoot problems
• Replace or rewire aerators and pumps
• Install additional system components as needed
• Explain findings and repairs to customers
• Assist with laying and connecting pipes
• Grade dirt and support installation projects
• Perform general outdoor labor
• Clean, maintain, and restock trucks
• Maintain an organized shop
• Dewater sewage and transport material to the landfill
• Assist with pouring concrete tanks
• Perform additional duties as assigned
