WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Providing safe and timely transport of Residents to appointments and other daily outings.
- Safely assisting residents in to and out of vehicles, including maneuvering wheelchairs, holding umbrellas in inclement weather and baggage handling.
- Conducting periodic checks of bus operation including fuel, oil, wipers, fluids, lights, etc.
- Maintaining cleanliness of vehicles and logs/records pertaining to vehicle service.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- A genuine interest in and compassion for older adults.
- A valid driver’s license - CDL endorsement (with (P) passenger endorsement) required – and a clean driving record.
- Ability to read and follow maps (electronic and paper-based).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with residents and staff.
