CDL Class A Driver

Pay: $0.65–$0.75 per mile, depending on experience
Mileage: Approximately 5,000–5,500 miles per week

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced and dependable CDL Class A Drivers to join our transportation team. Drivers will travel regionally and across state lines, hauling freight and completing deliveries throughout the week.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle while following all DOT and company safety regulations
• Transport and deliver freight to designated locations
• Complete approximately 5,000–5,500 miles per week
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate delivery and mileage records
• Communicate with dispatch regarding routes, deliveries, and any delays or issues
• Secure and handle freight safely
• Maintain a professional and dependable approach while on the road
• Follow all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations

Schedule & Home Time

• Schedule will vary from week to week based on delivery routes
• Drivers who remain local may be home for approximately one week after completing a delivery
• Drivers traveling out of state may be home for approximately 2–3 weeks after completing a delivery
• Flexibility with changing routes and schedules is required

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license required
• Previous commercial driving experience preferred
• Ability to travel and work varying schedules
• Ability to safely operate and inspect a commercial vehicle
• Dependable attendance and strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently while on the road
