CDL Driver
The Details
- Pay: $21.00 – $24.00 / hour, dependent on experience
- Schedule: 8 to 10-hour shifts (Overtime & weekend availability required)
- Office Location: Yonkers, NY
- Routes: NY Metro, Westchester, NJ, and CT
About the Role We are seeking a dependable CDL Driver to safely operate box trucks and flatbeds for customer deliveries and pickups. When you aren't on the road, you will jump in to support the team with warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive & Deliver: Make prompt deliveries and pickups. Verify, count, and unload materials safely at customer job sites.
- Warehouse Support: Check materials and help load flatbeds and box trucks when not driving.
- Strict Compliance: Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, submit daily DOT logs, and adhere strictly to all state, federal, and company safety standards.
- Safe Operation: Drive cautiously and responsibly to consistently minimize risk on the road.
Requirements & Physical Demands
- Must possess a valid Driver's License (CDL).
- Provide excellent customer service and work effectively alongside a team.
- Ability to lift at least 100 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Comfortable working outdoors safely in all weather conditions.
- Able to communicate effectively over a phone.
