Local Truck Driver (CDL Class A or B)Objectives:To be an integral part of our team by demonstrating excellent customer service skills while making local deliveries to customers (within 100 miles of our store).Our ideal candidate takes pleasure in solving problems, is able to work under pressure and enjoys being part of a team. Teamwork means participating in team decisions, maintaining good working relationships and supporting coworkers and our business goals.Primary Tasks and Responsibilities:Driving single-axle flat bed lumber trucks for local deliveriesUnloading trucks by hand, dump-bed or by using truck-mounted forkliftOperate Forklifts, saws, and banding equipmentAccurately gather and prepare customer delivery loadsAssisting customers load their vehiclesHelp maintain excellent lumber yard presentationAssisting with yard returns and exchangesAll employees are expected to be flexible and to do "whatever it takes" to help other co-workers and the company succeedQualifications:Be 21 years of age or olderDemonstrate excellent customer service skillsPass initial and random drug screens.Friendly and outgoing personalityBe able to lift and carry 100 lbs. without assistance.Have a clean driving recordBe able to use hoist to unload loads in tight areas.Capable of operating Moffett liftBe detail orientedBe motivated, hardworking and honestPossess a Class A or B CDL licenseThis is a SOLO Driving position, you will be required to unload materials on site.
