CDL Driver for a rear load trash truck

Shelz Sanitation & Trucking is seeking a dependable, safety-conscious CDL Driver to operate a rear load trash truck on residential collection routes.

The ideal candidate is an experienced driver who is comfortable operating a large vehicle in residential neighborhoods, and around other vehicles and pedestrians. Experience driving a rear-load refuse truck is preferred, but will consider qualified CDL drivers with other heavy-truck experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Safely operate a rear-load trash truck on assigned routes
• Complete routes reliably and efficiently
• Service trash, recycle, yard waste
• Work safely, professionally and efficiently with the helpers riding on the truck
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Identify and report mechanical issues
• Fuel equipment
• Follow DOT regulations and company procedures
• Keep the interior of the truck clean and professional

Qualifications include:

• Valid Class B CDL
• VALID DOT Medical Certificate
• Acceptable driving record

Schedule:

• Full-time position
• 0300 start - early morning
• Monday through Friday (Occasional Saturday)
