Location: Marietta, GA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a Class A CDL Delivery Driver to deliver HVAC supplies and equipment to customers within approximately a 2-hour radius of the branch.

This is a 100% driving position with a strong focus on customer service, safe material handling, and on-time deliveries. Vehicles are video monitored.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid Class B CDL or higher; Class A CDL preferred/required based on assigned vehicle.
  • Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience operating the class of vehicle assigned.
  • Must have the required state-issued non-excepted interstate self-certification and be able to provide proof.
  • Clean safety record and commitment to following DOT and company safety requirements.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver HVAC materials and equipment according to scheduled delivery times.
  • Validate delivery directions and routes.
  • Safely load, secure, transport, unload, or assist with unloading materials as required.
  • Ensure materials are properly secured and within applicable weight limits.
  • Review delivery tickets and obtain customer signatures upon delivery.
  • Clearly communicate with your supervisor throughout the day.
  • Pick up customer returns and verify products match the requested credit.
  • Pick up local-purchase orders as needed.
  • Secure and return packing lists and delivery documentation.
  • Verify all materials have been delivered and properly placed at the delivery site.
  • Review completed orders with the supervisor for accuracy and completion.
  • Return all delivery ticket copies to the warehouse and ensure documentation is accounted for.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Comply with all applicable DOT regulations and safety standards.
  • Fuel vehicles as needed.
  • Report vehicle issues, moving violations, accidents, defects, or other safety concerns to management.
  • Assist with warehouse operations as needed.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service.
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Support company programs, goals, and initiatives.
  • Work overtime as needed.

Equipment & Vehicles

Depending on assignment, drivers may operate:

  • 26' box trucks
  • F-250 pickup trucks
  • Vehicles with automatic transmissions

Class A CDL holders may operate the full range of qualifying vehicles permitted under their license.

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday
  • Standard hours: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
  • Schedule may vary during busy/peak seasons.
  • 30-minute unpaid lunch
  • Overtime as needed

Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
