GovFirst is seeking reliable and safety -focused <\/span><\/span>CDL Class B Drivers<\/span><\/span><\/b> to support on -call transportation and operational needs in Edinburg, VA. This role is ideal for professional drivers who are flexible, dependable, and available to respond to short -notice assignments.

Responsibilities:
<\/span><\/span><\/h3>

  • Operate CDL Class B vehicles safely and in compliance with all DOT, state, and federal regulations.
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Perform on -call driving assignments for transportation, delivery, and operational support services.
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Conduct pre -trip and post -trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operating condition.
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Transport equipment, materials, or personnel as assigned.
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Maintain accurate logs, trip records, and required documentation.
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Follow assigned routes, schedules, and instructions from dispatch or project management.
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Ensure vehicles are kept clean and report any mechanical issues promptly.
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Adhere to all safety procedures and traffic laws at all times.
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Respond to short -notice or emergency driving assignments as required.
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or project management.<\/span><\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>

    Required Qualifications:<\/i><\/span><\/span>
    <\/i><\/h4>

    • Valid CDL Class B license required.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Clean driving record with ability to pass DMV motor vehicle records check.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Ability to operate commercial vehicles safely in various weather and traffic conditions.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Strong reliability and willingness to work on -call and flexible schedules.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Professional and safety -conscious driving behavior.<\/span><\/span>
