About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled CDL Class B Driver to join our client's team in the logistics sector. In this role, you will contribute to the efficient and timely delivery of materials, ensure safety compliance, and support warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Drive a flatbed truck, ensuring timely delivery of materials as scheduled by your supervisor.
- Perform warehouse duties including stocking, staging, and pulling orders (25% of the time).
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper strapping and securing of loads.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and report any vehicle issues to the supervisor.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older with a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License.
- At least one year of experience driving the class of vehicles assigned.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse tasks.
- Compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) standards and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Electronic logging experience is a plus.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain after training.
