About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced CDL Driver to join our client's team in the logistics sector. In this role, you will contribute to the efficient transportation and delivery of HVAC units and accessories, ensuring timely and safe arrival at local and regional destinations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials by the time scheduled by your supervisor.
• Validate directions and ensure proper navigation.
• Unload or assist in unloading materials as required.
• Ensure that material is properly secured and within weight limits.
• Obtain customer signature on delivery tickets and ensure delivery documentation is complete.
• Communicate with your supervisor throughout the day.
• Pick up customer returns and validate product matches request for credit.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) standards and regulations.
• Assist in the warehouse as necessary, including loading trucks.
• Represent the company in a professional manner ensuring quality customer service.
• Abide by all company policies, rules, and safety regulations.
• Work overtime as needed.

Requirements

• 3-6 months sit down forklift experience.
• Understand that all vehicles are equipped with cameras.
• Customer service friendly.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Hold a minimum of a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License.
• At least one year of driving experience with the class of vehicles assigned.
• Compliance with company uniform policy.

Preferred Qualifications (if any)

• Experience with local and regional deliveries.
• Familiarity with HVAC units and accessories handling.
