CDL Class A or B Required • Paid Training • Incentive Opportunities • Primarily Monday–Friday

Looking for more than just another driving job?

McCarthy Tire Service is looking for a dependable CDL driver who enjoys operating equipment, working with their hands, and taking on something different every day. This position combines regional driving with hands-on service of large equipment tires. No previous off-the-road (OTR) tire experience is required; we provide specialized training.

    What you’ll do

    • Drive a commercial service truck to construction sites, quarries, industrial facilities, and other customer locations.
    • Operate specialized service-truck and hydraulic tire-handling equipment after training.
    • Remove, install, repair, and service large off-the-road equipment tires.
    • Perform physically demanding, outdoor work using tools and established safety procedures.
    • Travel to regional sites, some two or more hours away; generally, return home the same day.
    What we’re looking for
    • Valid CDL Class A or B and an acceptable driving record.
    • Basic mechanical aptitude, comfort using tools, and a willingness to learn.
    • Ability and willingness to perform manual labor in outdoor conditions.
    • Dependability, safety awareness, and strong customer-service habits.
    • Prior OTR tire experience is welcome but not required.

    What we offer

    • Paid, hands-on training with experienced OTR tire service professionals.
    • Attractive performance incentive opportunities (details discussed during hiring).
    • Competitive compensation based on qualifications and experience.
    • Medical, dental, and vision insurance. 401(k) with company match. Paid time off and holidays.
    • An opportunity to build a specialized trade skill with an established company.

    Schedule and expectations

Primarily Monday–Friday. Occasional weekend work may be required based on customer needs, and on-call participation may be introduced as the role develops. Regional travel is part of the job, with most assignments returning home the same day.

Have a CDL Class A or B, enjoy operating equipment, and want to learn a specialized trade? We’d like to hear from you.
