We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Driver (Class A) to deliver steel products using flatbed trucks. This position involves local deliveries during regular business hours with no tarping required.
Responsibilities
Safely transport steel materials to customers using a flatbed truck
Secure loads using boomer chains and occasional straps
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Follow all DOT and company safety regulations
Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records
Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers
Requirements
Valid CDL Class A license
Manual transmission experience required (no automatic restrictions)
Clear MVR and DOT record
Experience with flatbed steel delivery preferred
Ability to secure loads with boomers (chains); no tarping required
Dependable, safety-focused, and punctual
Work Environment
Local routes only
Home daily
Day shift, no weekends
