Position Summary
We are seeking a safety-focused, dependable CDL Class A Driver to operate an Aspen A62 Bridge Inspection Truck on bridge inspection projects throughout the region. This position requires operating specialized bridge access equipment to provide safe access for bridge inspectors while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
This is an excellent opportunity for a CDL driver who is willing to travel, working outdoors, and operating specialized equipment.
Responsibilities:
· Safely operate and transport the Bridge Inspection Truck to and from project sites.
· Set up, position, and operate the bridge inspection unit.
· Work closely with bridge inspectors and project managers to safely access bridge structures.
· Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections.
· Maintain required personal and truck DOT documentation as well as maintain compliance with all FMCSA, DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations.
· Conduct routine maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly.
· Assist with equipment preparation.
· Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service while representing the company.
· Extended travel regularly and work varied schedules based on project needs.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
· 5-10 years experience in heavy truck driving.
· Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record.
· Current DOT / FMCSA Medical Card.
· Willingness to travel overnight for extended periods.
