    Full-Time CDL Class B Driver



    Position Type: Full-Time

    License Required: Valid CDL Class B License

    Position Overview



    We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious CDL Class B Driver to join our transportation team on a full-time basis. This position requires an experienced professional who can operate Class B commercial vehicles safely and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe driving, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently while representing our company with professionalism and integrity.



    Primary Responsibilities



    Vehicle Operation and Safety



    • Operate Class B commercial vehicles including straight trucks, box trucks, dump trucks, or delivery vehicles in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations
    • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure all equipment is in safe operating condition
    • Identify and report any mechanical issues, safety concerns, or maintenance needs immediately to the appropriate supervisor
    • Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
    • Operate vehicles in various weather conditions and traffic situations while maintaining safe driving practices
    • Properly secure cargo using appropriate tie-down methods and equipment to prevent shifting or damage during transport


    Route Management and Delivery



    • Plan and execute daily routes efficiently to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
    • Navigate using GPS systems, maps, and routing software to optimize delivery schedules
    • Load and unload cargo safely, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, or lift gates
    • Verify accuracy of shipments by checking invoices, bills of lading, and delivery receipts
    • Obtain signatures and documentation for all deliveries and pickups
    • Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route progress, delays,
