About the Position

Our client is seeking CDL A Truck Drivers for local delivery routes based in West Jefferson, Ohio. This position offers no-touch freight, consistent support from TransForce, and the potential to transition from temporary to permanent employment.

Pay & Schedule Details

• Pay rate: $29 per hour
• Overtime available after 40 hours
• Hours per week: 40
• Schedule includes at least one weekend day, such as Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday
• Start time between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
• Employment type: Temp to perm

Job Details

• Equipment: Automatic tractor with a 53-foot dry van
• Handling: No-touch freight with double drop-and-hook operations

Key Responsibilities

• Operate an automatic tractor and 53-foot dry van safely and professionally
• Complete local delivery routes throughout Ohio, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania
• Transport general commodities
• Perform double drop-and-hook operations
• Pull trailers from the door and place loaded trailers back into the same door
• Follow all applicable safety and transportation regulations

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL A
• 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
