Day-in-the-Life Responsibilities
- Safely transport Amazon Freight goods across your assigned route (Regional corridor or Local 150-mile radius).
- Execute 100% drop-and-hook operations efficiently.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain fleet safety.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) logs and complete daily paperwork.
- Operate with high autonomy while maintaining safe driving standards and DOT compliance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- License: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
- Driving Record: Clean MVR and a strong safety record.
- Experience: Commercial vehicle driving experience (6+ months OTR required for Regional; familiarity with ELD systems is a plus).
- Location: Must reside in or near the Milwaukee, Kenosha, or Racine, WI areas.
- Mindset: Self-motivated, safety-first driver who values independence, clear communication, and teamwork.
