We are seeking an experienced CDL A Truck Driver with HAZMAT endorsement for an excellent direct hire opportunity with Thompson & Johnson Equipment, a well-established, family-owned company serving Upstate New York.

What You'll Do
- Load, secure, and transport equipment to and from customer locations and job sites.
- Safely operate trucks and trailers in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Deliver equipment to customers and assist with unloading and placement.
- Provide basic instruction on safe equipment operation when necessary.
- Communicate professionally with customers and internal team members.
- Complete delivery documentation, driver logs, and inspection reports.
- Maintain trucks and equipment in a clean, safe, and operational condition.
What We're Looking For
- Valid CDL Class A license with HAZMAT endorsement required.
- Clean driving record meeting company and insurance requirements.
- Experience safely operating commercial trucks and trailers.
- Ability to load, secure, and transport equipment safely.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation safety requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to accurately complete required paperwork and logs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
