New to Trucking? Here's Exactly What to Expect
- Trainee pay of $850 per week during training
- Paid one-on-one OTR training with an experienced mentor
- Immediate upgrade to full solo mileage rate once training is complete
- Minimum of 120 hours from an accredited CDL school required to start
Pay
- Average weekly earnings of $1,200 to $1,500
- Starting mileage pay of $0.51 cpm
- Guaranteed pay for your first 3 months after your first solo dispatch
- Monthly performance bonus
- $15 stop pay
Route & Freight
- Reefer trailers
- Regional routes across CA, ID, NV, OR, UT, and WA
- 1,900 to 2,100 miles weekly
- No load or unload, drivers are not responsible for touching freight
Home Time & Schedule
- Home every two weeks
- Day and night dispatch
- Weekend work expected, some holiday work depending on staffing needs
Qualifications
- New CDL-A holders welcome, or 6+ months of verifiable solo experience
- Team drivers and owner operators welcome
- Valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical card, 21 years or older
- Clean MVR and background check
- Must pass hair and urine drug testing
