Cornerstone Driver Solutions is hiring qualified Class A CDL drivers for a dedicated semi-local driving opportunity based in Aurora, Colorado.

Drivers operate throughout Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska, with approximately 1–2 overnight stays per week.

The current Aurora market includes comparable positions advertising approximately $1,400–$1,600 weekly, while other local/semi-local positions are advertising $1,600–$1,625 weekly.

Frequent Home Time

This is a semi-local position, not traditional OTR.

• 34-hour home reset every week
• Approximately 1–2 overnight stays per week
• Monday-Friday schedule
• Start times generally between 3:00 AM and 6:00 AM
• Approximately 10–12 hours per day
• Occasional Saturday work may be required based on operational needs
• Hotel accommodations provided for required overnight stays
• Dedicated, consistent routes

Dedicated Freight

Drivers operate dedicated routes throughout:

• Colorado
• Wyoming
• Nebraska

Routes can extend approximately 300 miles from Aurora.

Typical weekly workload includes approximately:

• 952 miles per week
• 33 stops per week

Freight and Delivery

This is an active delivery position with physical freight-handling responsibilities.

Drivers may be responsible for:

• Loading and unloading freight
• Operating liftgates
• Using pallet jacks
• Moving freight with roller carts
• Completing multiple stops per route
• Delivering freight to schools and designated delivery locations
• Handling loads averaging approximately 300 pounds

Drivers should be comfortable performing physical delivery work and maneuvering equipment at customer locations.

Equipment

Drivers operate automatic-transmission day-cab equipment.

Equipment includes:

• Automatic day cabs
• Dry-van trailers
• Liftgates
• Pallet jacks
• Roller carts
• Well-maintained company equipment

Company trucks cannot be taken home.

Reliable transportation to and from the terminal is required.

Driver Requirements

Qualified applicants must have:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of CDL-A driving experience
• Solo tractor-trailer experience
• Safe driving history
• Ability to meet applicable DOT requirements
• Ability to perform physical delivery duties
• Ability to safely operate a pallet jack and liftgate
• Ability to move freight at customer locations
• Professional communication skills
• Reliable transportation to and from the terminal
• Ability to work the required Monday-Friday schedule
• Flexibility for occasional overnight and Saturday work

What You'll Do

As a semi-local CDL-A driver, you will:

• Operate company equipment on established dedicated routes
• Transport freight throughout Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska
• Complete approximately 33 stops per week
• Average approximately 952 miles per week
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Safely operate liftgate equipment
• Use pallet jacks and roller carts
• Load and unload freight as required
• Complete deliveries safely and on schedule
• Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
• Communicate with dispatch and customers
• Follow all DOT and company safety requirements
• Complete overnight routes when required
• Return home for your scheduled weekly 34-hour reset
