Join Safety-Kleen as a CDL-A Regional Bulk Liquid Transport Driver

Start your week in E. Chicago, IN, perform your pre-trip, and chart a safe course across the Midwest. You’ll operate late-model tractor–trailer tanker equipment, manage hazardous and non-hazardous liquid loads, and keep to a predictable rhythm that averages 60–65 hours per week with weekly home time.

• Drivers average $90-$120K per year
• $7,500 sign-on-bonus available
• Hourly pay for all on-duty, non-driving time

A Day in the Life

In this role you’ll:

• Operate tractor–trailer tanker units safely and professionally
• Follow all safe work practices and company policies at all times
• Verify axle weights and ensure proper utilization of equipment
• Load and unload hazardous and non-hazardous waste and securely fasten every load
• Placard equipment per Company and DOT regulations
• Maintain accurate logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports

What You Bring

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• Minimum 3 months of tanker experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Comfort climbing and working from heights
• Able to lift and carry 50 lbs or more
• Comfort using mobile apps and basic computer software
