About the Role:Gross Transport Inc is looking for a dependable CDL-A Pickup and Delivery Driver to join our Louisville/Shepersdsville KY team on a drop & hook operation — and the best part? Responsibilities:- Execute local and regional pickup and delivery routes in and around Louisville, KY
- Perform drop & hook trailer operations efficiently at customer and terminal locations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation including Bills of Lading and delivery records
- Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and dock personnel
- Ensure safe operation of Class A tractor-trailer equipment at all times
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety regulations and procedures
Requirements:- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) required
- Must meet DOT physical and medical certification standards
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens when required
- Previous tractor-trailer or pickup and delivery driving experience required (1 year in the last 3 or 3 in 5)
- Clean MVR and satisfactory background check
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet delivery schedules
- Strong knowledge of DOT Hours of Service (HOS) regulations
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused professional demeanor
