We are seeking dedicated and reliable CDL-A & Non-CDL Box Truck Drivers to join our team in Mesquite, TX, 75150. Non CDL Box Truck starting at $17/hr
CDL-A ranging from $18/hr-$25/hr DOE
Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and cargo information.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.
- Gooseneck and Piggyback experience is a plus!
Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A or Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience driving box trucks required.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
