We're hiring experienced Class A CDL Drivers for a local intermodal position serving the Los Angeles and Inland Empire markets. This opportunity offers daily home time, steady freight, hourly pay plus stop pay, and a consistent five-day work week.
Drivers move loaded and empty intermodal containers between rail ramps, distribution centers, and customer facilities throughout Southern California.
Pay & Compensation
- Average Weekly Earnings:$1,400–$1,800
- Hourly Pay:$19.25 per hour
- Stop Pay:$18.71 per stop
- Weekly direct deposit
- Optional extra workdays available for additional earnings
Home Time & Schedule
- Home Daily
- 5-day work week
- Night shift
- Weekend work required
- Drivers receive a daily 10-hour break
- Optional sixth workday available for drivers who want additional income
- Holiday work is typically volunteer-based
Job Responsibilities
- Safely transport loaded and empty intermodal containers
- Pick up and deliver containers between rail ramps, customer facilities, and distribution centers
- Connect and disconnect containers from chassis
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Verify container numbers, seals, and shipping paperwork
- Complete electronic logs and DOT documentation
- Communicate with dispatch regarding deliveries and equipment
- Operate safely in busy Southern California traffic

- No-touch driver-assist freight
- Slip-seat operation
- Trucks remain at the Bell Gardens yard

- Bloomington

Drivers should be comfortable operating through the Grapevine and in Southern California traffic.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 6 months of verifiable CDL-A experience
- Hazmat endorsement required (or ability to obtain if required by the account)
- Must live within 25 miles of Bell Gardens, CA (90201)
- Must be available for night shifts
- Weekend availability required
- Comfortable operating intermodal chassis and containers
- Comfortable with an auto-dispatch work environment
- Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and MVR review
