Cornerstone Driver Solutions is recruiting experienced CDL-A Company Drivers for a local intermodal position serving the Austell / Atlanta West, GA area.

• $1,443 average weekly earnings

HOME DAILY | LOCAL OPERATION

• Home daily
• Local intermodal/drayage
• Primarily operates throughout the Austell / Atlanta West market
• Routes may extend up to approximately 250 miles per day
• Day and night schedules may be available
• Weekend work may be required

Important: This is a local home-daily position, but drivers must be flexible with the schedule assigned by the account.

THE JOB

Drivers transport intermodal containers on chassis between rail facilities, customers, distribution centers, terminals, and other assigned locations.

Typical operations include:

• Rail-to-customer moves
• Customer-to-rail moves
• Terminal and rail facility operations
• Distribution center deliveries
• Container/chassis inspections
• Drop-and-hook operations when assigned

No-touch freight: Drivers are not responsible for physically loading or unloading the freight inside the containers.

HIRING AREA

Austell / Atlanta West, GA

Drivers must live within approximately 35 miles of ZIP code 30339.

The 35-mile requirement is the hiring radius. The operating area may extend up to approximately 250 miles per day.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Class A CDL
• 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the previous 3 years, OR
• 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the previous 5 years
• Safe and responsible driving history
• Meet applicable DOT and carrier qualification requirements
• Pass required drug/alcohol screening
• Meet DOT medical requirements
• Reliable transportation to the reporting location
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to safely operate around rail facilities and terminals

Owner Operators, teams, and trainees are not accepted for this position.
