Join a dedicated local operation delivering refrigerated freight to retail stores throughout the Sacramento and Bay Area. This position offers daily home time, consistent routes, and schedules provided in advance so you can plan your time.
Pay
- Average earnings: $1,500 per week
- Average based on a brand-new driver
- Some experienced drivers are grossing $2,000+ per week
- Hourly pay based on experience:
- 0 years: $25.00/hr
- 1 year: $26.00/hr
- 2 years: $26.25/hr
- 3 years: $26.50/hr
- 4 years: $26.75/hr
- 5 years: $27.00/hr
- 6 years: $27.25/hr
- 7 years: $27.50/hr
- 8 years: $27.75/hr
- 9 years: $28.00/hr
- 10 years: $28.50/hr
- No sign-on bonus
Schedule & Home Time
- Home daily
- Day and night shifts available
- Very early starts, generally between midnight and 3:00 AM
- Weekend work required
- Holiday work required
- Weekdays off
- Routes and assignments provided the day before
- Consistent start times and predictable scheduling
Job Responsibilities
- Pick up preloaded refrigerated trailers in Sacramento.
- Deliver freight to retail stores throughout Sacramento and the Bay Area.
- Complete live unloads with unloading assistance.
- Return to Sacramento after completing assigned deliveries.
- Follow all DOT, safety, and customer requirements.
Driver Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience
- First-seat experienced drivers only; trainees are not accepted
- Must live within 30 miles of ZIP code 95837
- Must be available for assigned day or night shifts, weekends, and holidays
- No additional endorsements required
