About the Position

TransForce is seeking an experienced Class A Heavy Haul OTR Driver for a full-time, year-round direct-hire opportunity. This position supports the transportation of oversized tanks and industrial equipment for the propane, ammonia, and industrial gas industries. The role offers consistent work, competitive annual pay, comprehensive benefits, and nationwide routes for a safety-focused professional driver.

Pay & Schedule Details

• Pay: $75,000–$80,000 annually
• Schedule: Full-time, year-round
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Schedule varies based on dispatch and route assignments
• Overnight travel and layovers may be required
• Flexibility is required to meet delivery timelines and operational needs
• Hours worked in compliance with DOT regulations
• Expected start date: May 18, 2026

Job Details

• Route type: Over-the-road nationwide routes
• Freight: Oversized tanks and industrial equipment
• Equipment: Commercial heavy-haul equipment
• Handling: Light touch; drivers are responsible for proper load securement and routine load inspections

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial equipment and transport heavy-haul freight
• Secure oversized and specialized loads according to safety requirements
• Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain DOT compliance and follow all required safety procedures
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and operations staff
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries
• Perform physical duties related to load securement and inspections

Minimum Requirements

• At least 27 years of age
• Valid Class A CDL
• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Experience securing oversized or specialized loads
• Heavy-haul experience preferred
• Strong safety mindset and dependable work ethic
• Ability to perform physical duties related to load securement and inspections
