We are seeking reliable and safety-focused CDL Delivery Drivers to support our logistics team in Groveport, OH! Drivers will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering a variety of freight, including beverage and alcohol products, commercial shipments, and other general freight to customers and business locations.
The ideal candidate has a strong driving record, excellent customer-service skills, and experience handling local or regional deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles and commercial equipment
- HEAVY TOUCH (unloading) Position
- Deliver freight to customers, businesses, and designated locations
- 1st Shift - 35-45 hours per week
- Transport a variety of freight, including liquor/alcohol and other commercial products
- Safely load, secure, transport, and unload freight
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules
- Verify shipments and delivery documentation
- Obtain required signatures and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide professional customer service at each delivery
- Follow all company, DOT, and safety requirements
- Properly handle and secure freight to prevent damage during transportation
- Communicate with dispatch and management regarding delays, delivery issues, or damaged freight
- Maintain a clean and professional vehicle
- Perform other transportation or warehouse duties as needed
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Clean and acceptable driving record
- Previous CDL delivery or freight experience preferred
- Up to date DOT Medical Card
- 1+ year of experience
