About the Role:E & J Enterprises LLC is looking for a skilled and dependable CDL-A Driver to join our growing team in Deep River, CT. Responsibilities:- Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and in compliance with all federal and state DOT regulations
- Transport and deliver MSW (municipal solid waste) to designated locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues
- Maintain accurate logs, manifests, and delivery documentation (paper or electronic)
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and deliveries
- Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of cargo
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies
Requirements:- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) required - Minimum of 3 years over the road or 4 years on local deliveries, working for the same company for two years.
- Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Experience operating Class A vehicles
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) rules
- Professional, reliable, and self-motivated with excellent communication skills
