You will spend 4–6 weeks on the road with an experienced trainer, learning the responsibilities of the job beyond CDL school. After successfully completing the training program, you will transition into your own truck and may earn $1,600–$1,800 per week.

What You’ll Do

During training, you will ride with an experienced driver who will help you develop the skills and confidence needed to operate independently. You will learn about:

  • Safe driving and trip planning
  • Pickups and deliveries
  • Pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Communication with dispatch
  • The day-to-day responsibilities of an over-the-road driver

After successfully completing the mentor program, you will transition into your own truck and begin driving solo.
