What You'll Do
- Implement ABA treatment plans, Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and skill-acquisition programs under BCBA supervision.
- Provide direct behavioral support during daily routines, activities, transitions, and community participation.
- Use positive behavior supports, reinforcement strategies, de-escalation techniques, and approved crisis-intervention procedures.
- Collect objective behavioral data and complete service documentation, progress notes, and incident reports.
- Model behavioral strategies and support staff in implementing interventions consistently.
- Assist with behavior assessments and plan updates while promoting dignity, independence, and self-determination.

 

Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Knowledge of ABA principles, positive behavior supports, data collection, crisis prevention, and de-escalation.
- Strong verbal and written communication, organization, documentation, and person-centered support skills.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to successfully complete required background screening and agency requirements.

Preferred
- One to two years of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities, autism, or behavioral challenges.
- Experience implementing ABA interventions or Behavior Intervention Plans in community-based, residential, or human-services settings.
