Approved: 07/28/2016 Carroll County Schools Job Description Extra Duty TITLE: Bass Fishing Coach-CCHS QUALIFICATIONS:

• Holds a valid Kentucky teaching certificate; or
• Holds a Bachelor's degree or higher; or
• Have minimum of 64 semester hours with 2.5 grade point average and at least 21 years of age; or
• A classified employee who demonstrates training qualifications or expertise related to the duties
• Has the ability to work well with students
• Has the ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, parents, media and the community REPORTS TO: Principal JOB GOAL: To help each participating student achieve a high level of skill, and an appreciation for the values of discipline and sportsmanship, and an increased level of self-esteem PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Hold try outs. Plan and schedule a regular program of practice Schedule dual meets Recommend the purchase of necessary equipment and supplies Obtain advanced approval from the principal for all fund raising activities Monitor and be responsible for all student fund raising activities related to the academic program Update Roster on KHSAA Enforce discipline and sportsmanlike behavior at all times Obtain principal's approval in advance for all trips and contests Submit required paper work to principal for tournament entries. Organize and schedule travel Know how to cast line Know how to tie knots in lures Know difference between Bass and Bluegill Perform other duties consistent with the position assigned as may be requested by the supervisor TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Stipend
