**Job Description:**

- **Location:** Asheville, NC
- **Floor:** 9th
- **Number of Beds:** 24
- **Number of Staff:** 42
- **Staff Composition:**
- Day Shift: 1 CNC, 4-6 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1 HUC
- Night Shift: 1 CNC, 4-6 RNs, 2 CNAs
- **Patient Ratios:** 1:4 or 1:5
- **Type of Equipment:** Standard unit equipment
- **EMR:** Cerner

- Valid RN License
- BLS Certification

- Chemo Certification
- **Typical Procedures:**
- Occasional pelvic exams
- Echo
- Thoracentesis

- **Certifications:**
- None required at this time
- **Floating Areas:**
- Primarily within other med-surg units (rarely floats)
- **Dress Code:**
- RNs: Navy, white, or a combination of both colors
- CNAs: Galaxy Blue
- **Work Schedule:**
- Saturdays and Sundays are required (6 weekend days per schedule)
- Rare call responsibilities
- **Experience:**
- 2+ years in a relevant position
