Travel Cath Lab Technologist - Days
Facility: Newton Medical Center
Location: Newton, New Jersey
Pay: $77/hour | Estimated weekly gross: $3,080 at 40 paid hours
Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.; 40 hours/week
Assignment: 12-week contract. Actual start and end dates confirmed with your recruiter.
Required Licenses and Qualifications
- Radiologic Technologist license, current BLS and ACLS.
- At least two years of relevant experience, including current direct Cath Lab experience as a cardiovascular/invasive cardiovascular technologist or radiologic technologist.
- Scrub and monitoring experience.
- Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualification
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and equipment for cardiac catheterization, PCI, peripheral vascular, pacemaker and interventional radiology procedures.
- Assist before, during and after procedures while maintaining sterile technique.
- Monitor, document and calculate hemodynamic data.
- Assess and manage vascular access sites and communicate changes in patient condition.
- Follow facility safety practices and approved emergency protocols.
Weekly earnings are estimates before taxes and depend on hours worked. On-call expectations will be confirmed with the facility before assignment.
