What Youll Do
- Provide skilled support during complex percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs) and structural heart procedures
- Scrub, monitor, and manage PA lines and telemetry during procedures
- Assist with balloon angioplasty, PCI, stent placements, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, and catheterizations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety
- Maintain sterile techniques and operational readiness of equipment
- Support cardiac procedures like Watchman, septal closure, and ablations as needed
- Float to related units occasionally, with minimal frequency and guidelines provided
What You Need
Required:- Valid ACLS & BLS certifications
- RCIS or ARRT certification
- Minimum 2 years experience in Structural Heart or Cath Lab procedures
- Structural Heart scrub experience is a must
- Ability to perform scrub, monitor, and manage complex procedures
Preferred:- Experience with septal closure, coil embolization, filters, and rhythm interpretation
- Previous experience with EP procedures and EKG interpretation
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
About the Assignment
This role is at a leading hospital in Charlotte, NC, performing advanced structural heart interventions, complex PCIs, and cath lab procedures. The unit utilizes EPIC and MAC Lab systems and maintains a focus on patient safety and procedural excellence. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with potential call requirements including weekends and callback, with minimal floating required. The team is dedicated to supporting your success, providing comprehensive orientation and resources.
