Education: Have earned a minimum of an associate degree or 2 years of work experience (2 years of experience preferred but not required). Graduate of an accredited RCIS related Technical or Associate's degree program preferred.
Experience: 2 years Cath, EP, or Vascular experience preferred but not required Licensure/Credential: Must Hold a Radiography or a imaging credential: ARRT-R American Registry of Radiologic Tech and MRT through TX Medical Board or RCIS (Reg Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) preferred.
Cases: Coronary- Cardiac catheterization, PCI, Impella/IABP, Vascular- Peripheral angiogram and intervention, thrombectomy, EP- Ablation (afib, flutter, SVT, VOM), device placement (pacemaker, defibrillator, CCM, loop recorder).
On-Call: STEMI call required, approximately 7 - 8 days of call per month including one weekend. On Call response time to the facility is within 30 minutes of notification
Schedule: Full-time 4 days a week - 10-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday 6:00am - 4:30pm, Holidays and night call coverage for emergent Procedures.10-hourshifts On-call 7 to 8 days a month. Call includes weekends and holidays

Job Summary
The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, under general supervision, helps Physicians during catheterization and electrophysiology lab procedures. Prepares room and equipment, instructs patients, monitors patient''s condition, and provides routine and emergency care during procedures. Contributes to the orientation and training of other team members. Help with daily, monthly, and quarterly quality control initiatives through auditing and reporting.
