Description

Title: Registered Nurse - Cath Lab
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: 1555 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14626
Start Date: 10/12/2026
Schedule: Day (4x10 Hours) 7:00 17:30

  • Specialty: Cath/IR RN | First-Time Travelers: Accepted

  • Experience:2+ years required — must have Cath Lab experience; IR-only profiles not accepted

  • Schedule: 4×10s | 7:00 AM–5:30 PM

  • Call: Avg. 8–10 call shifts/month, including 1–2 weekends/month

  • Local Rule: No locals within 75 miles

  • License: Pending license not accepted

  • Certifications:BLS & ACLS

  • RTO: Keep close to 1 week

  • Required: Experience in both Cath Lab & IR Lab

  • Charting:EPIC required

  • Mandatory Skills:Phlebotomy & IV placement

  • Cath Lab: Diagnostic/interventional cath, PCI/stents, L/R heart cath, IABP, Impella, pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction, Swan-Ganz, angioplasty

  • IR Procedures: Biopsy, paracentesis, embolization, nephrostomy, angiography, chest/lung procedures, gastrostomy, vascular interventions & central access

  • Clinical Skills: Procedural sedation, dysrhythmia management, 12-lead EKG, emergency meds, IV pumps, infection prevention & isolation precautions

  • Patient Population: Cardiac cath diagnostic/interventional patients + IR patients requiring drains, tubes, kyphoplasty, biopsies, etc.

  • Scrubs:Provided by facility
