Catering Sales Development Representative (New Business, Outbound), Dunwoody

From our highly efficient 800-square-foot kitchen in the Dunwoody area, our team produces hundreds of freshly prepared meals each hour to serve offices, medical centers, schools, and community organizations across Metro Atlanta.

Location: Dunwoody, GA, 4957 Winters Chapel Rd, Suite B, 30360; you prospect and visit offices, schools, medical offices and event venues around Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, Brookhaven, Roswell, Perimeter and north Atlanta. We hire within about a 40-minute drive of Dunwoody (no traffic).

Job type: Full time (W-2). Monday to Friday, daytime, with occasional evening or weekend events.

Pay: Base $42,000 to $48,000 per year depending on experience, plus commission that starts at 5% of the paid order value (before tax, tips and delivery fees) of the catering accounts you open, and grows as your account revenue grows. Commission is paid monthly after the customer pays. Mileage for approved prospect and client visits is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate (76 cents per mile for July to December 2026).

About the job

This is the new-business role on our catering team. Your job is to find companies that do not order from us yet, start the conversation and turn them into recurring catering customers. You focus on outbound prospecting: calls, emails, walk-ins and tastings. Our Catering Sales Representative (Corporate Accounts) manages and grows the accounts we already have; you open the new ones and hand them off once they are placed.

Who you will prospect

• Offices and corporate teams: office managers, HR, admin and executive assistants who order team lunches.
• Hospitals, medical and dental offices: staff meals, lunch-and-learns and appreciation days.
• Schools and universities: staff events, PTA and teacher appreciation, athletics and campus offices.
• Event planners, property managers and venues: corporate events, meetings and open houses.

What you'll do

• Build your own prospect list each week and make outbound calls, emails and in-person visits to reach decision makers.
• Book tastings and sample drops, present menus and pricing, and send quotes.
• Follow up until the first order is placed, then hand the account to the Catering Sales Representative and the Catering Coordinator with all details.
• Keep a simple pipeline (company, contact, status, next step, order value) in a shared Google Sheet so we can see what is working.
• Work with catering platforms (ezCater, ZeroCater, Foodsby, Fooda) and local networking to find leads.
• Report weekly: new prospects contacted, tastings booked, quotes sent and new accounts won.

Required

• Own reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license for prospect and client visits (mileage reimbursed).
• Comfortable making cold calls and sending outbound emails every day.
• Clear, professional phone, email and in-person communication.
• Live within about a 40-minute drive of Dunwoody.
• Legally authorized to work in the US.

Pay and benefits:

• Base pay ($42,000 to $48,000 a year) plus commission: 5% to start, growing as account revenue grows (see Pay above).
