WHAT YOULL DO
Partner with clients to understand their event vision, goals, needs, and budget.
Develop customized event proposals, menus, and detailed timelines.
Coordinate with culinary, design, logistics, and other internal teams to ensure seamless event execution.
Conduct site visits, tastings, and client meetings throughout the planning process.
Manage event logistics, including rentals, staffing, vendors, and other event details.
Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown while ensuring an excellent client experience.
Maintain accurate event records, contracts, billing information, and other documentation.
Provide exceptional customer service and develop lasting relationships with clients.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
3+ years of experience in event planning, catering, hospitality, or a related field.
Strong project management, organization, and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple moving pieces and deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
Proficiency with event planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of Portland-area event venues and vendors is a plus.
Passion for food, design, hospitality, and creating memorable experiences.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as events require.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical requirements for this office role include the ability to sit for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks such as typing and data entry, and occasionally lift or move light objects (up to 20 lbs).
