Every delivery supports nutrition, independence, and connection for older adults in our community.Pay Range: $18.66 – $19.26 per hour, depending on experience. $1 dollar increase for bilingual individuals (Spanish, German, Korean).Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week) and Part-Time (20+ hours/week) options available. All Nutrition Specialists are cross‑trained, but delivery is the main function of this role.Safely deliver meals to community dining sitesLoad and unload meal carriers and suppliesMaintain accurate delivery logs and temperature recordsOperate and inspect assigned vehiclesSupport food prep, sanitation, inventory, and site operationsProvide friendly, respectful service to participants and volunteersWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalent.Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.Ability to lift 50 lbs.Reliable, safety‑focused, and independent worker.Food service or delivery experience preferred.ServSafe certification preferred or willingness to obtain.Experience driving a box truck is a plus.One or more months of transportation experience preferred.Experience working with Senior Citizens preferred.Experience handling money, such as donations, is preferred.Excellent interpersonal and human relations skills.Ability to function in a fast moving and constantly changing environment.Strong computer skills including use of web browsers and the internet.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNone.VOLUNTEER ENGAGEMENT RESONSIBILITIESSilver Key is a volunteer centric organization. You will be responsible for driving a catering box truck. Must maintain a current, valid Colorado Driver's License. Must maintain the state issued minimum automotive liability insurance coverage. Must observe and obey all federal, state, and local traffic laws.WORK ENVIRONMENTModerate noise within business office atmosphere and vehicle with clients, movement and traffic. Some work outside and may be exposed to inclement weather.EMPLOYMENT STANDARDSSilver Key Senior Services is a drug-free organization.
