Position Overview

Help guests plan catering across TACO NACO KC’s restaurant locations in the Kansas City area. As Catering Coordinator, you will answer questions, prepare quotes, and keep orders organized. You will share clear details with the assigned restaurant team so pickups, deliveries, and events are ready at the agreed time.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer catering questions by phone, email, and ordering platforms. Explain menus and service options.
• Help guests decide how much food to order. Record food allergies and other dietary requests, and confirm menu details with the kitchen.
• Prepare accurate quotes and order records, including dates, guest counts, addresses, and pickup or delivery times.
• Follow up with new and returning clients. Keep track of deadlines and order changes.
• Give kitchen and service teams clear order instructions. Check packaging and labels and make sure orders are ready.
• Help arrange event setup and service when needed. Share changes early so the team can adjust.
• Follow up after events, record feedback, and help resolve client concerns.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, hospitality, events, sales, or office work. One year is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and conversation and use email, calendars, and order records.
• Attention to quantities, pricing, timing, and other details that affect a catering order.
• Ability to manage several deadlines, ask questions early, and complete agreed tasks for clients and teammates.

Schedule & Work Environment

Part-time to full-time opportunities. Hours depend on catering and event needs.

Work includes computer and phone tasks, restaurant coordination, and on-site event support when assigned.
