Key Responsibilities: Execute Catering Orders Accurately and On Time
- Deliver catering orders promptly, ensuring food stays hot and secure
- Load and set up catering at guest locations when needed
- Maintain accurate order details and communicate clearly with kitchen and management
- Assist with preparation, packaging, and labeling to guarantee complete and delicious orders
- Follow up with guests post-delivery to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
Key Responsibilities: Grow Catering Sales in the Community
- Visit local businesses, schools, churches, and event organizers to promote catering
- Distribute catering menus and promotional materials enthusiastically
- Maintain and update contact lists of prospects and customers
- Follow up on leads, quotes, and past orders with a friendly, professional attitude
- Represent the Zaxby's brand with confidence and care
Key Responsibilities: Support ‘Base’ Shifts in the Store
- Work the front counter as a cashier during slow catering periods
- Engage guests to introduce catering options and start conversations
- Assist with prep, stocking, and maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment
- Adapt to peak times by supporting different roles as needed with purpose and urgency
- Serve the team and guests with a heart for service and fun energy
Position Requirements & Schedule
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance required
- Organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and friendly with guests and community contacts
- Professional appearance and ability to lift 30+ lbs and stand during shifts
- Availability for approximately 25 hours per week including weekdays and weekends
- Part-time role with a mix of in-store and field hours to flex with catering demand
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Food service, hospitality, delivery, or sales experience is a plus
- Complete training on digital catering platform provided
- Positive, flexible attitude with a willingness to go above and beyond
