Catering Assistant

 $27.09 per hour + Super + Leave Benefits

• Two days a week, with possible option to increase days and hours
• Tuesday and Thursday 9am till 2.30 pm initially
• Work during school hours and have all school holidays off

THE POSITION

• Assisting with food preparation and presentation.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.
• Supporting the setup and pack down of dining and hospitality functions.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Working collaboratively with the wider catering team to deliver an outstanding service.

THE PERSON

• Have previous experience in hospitality, catering, food service, or customer service (desirable but not essential).
• Possess a positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a commitment to quality.
• Be reliable, punctual, and well-presented.
• Hold a current Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain one).
